Trade Waste Permit

Australia Wide

Before trade waste can be discharged into the council sewer system, business owners are required to obtain trade waste permits and ensure their wastewater quality comply with the trade waste acceptance criteria. This is particularly important as most trade waste requires preliminary or special treatment before it can be discharged into the council sewerage system. For example the kitchen wastewater from a restaurant or a food court will need to go through a grease trap. The effluent from a car wash will need to go through an oil water separator before it is discharged to the council sewerage system.

A+ Recycled Water

Non-potable Use:
While considered safe for certain non-drinking applications, it should not be used for drinking, bathing, or washing clothes.

Strict Standards:
To be classified as A+, the water must meet strict microbiological quality standards set by the relevant state health department.

Dual Reticulation Systems:
Delivered through a separate pipe system to ensure no mixing with potable water.

Frequently Asked Questions About Wash Bay Systems

Are you struggling with inefficient wash bays causing downtime? Discover how Enviroconcepts’ custom-engineered wash bay systems can boost the operational efficiency of your site while ensuring environmental compliance.

A wash bay system is a dedicated area designed for cleaning vehicles and equipment, effectively managing the wastewater produced during the process. They are essential in industries like mining, transport, and automotive, providing solutions for every specific case of vehicle or heavy machinery cleaning.
Oily water from washing vehicles and equipment contains contaminants that can harm the environment. Effective wastewater treatment systems with oil-water separators are crucial for oil removal and suspended solids from the water before discharge or recycling.
Water recycling systems not only reduce water usage but also lower operational costs for numerous industries. Our portable solutions integrate separators, making them ideal for trade applications while adhering to environmental compliance in every case. Enviroconcepts provides water recycling systems that are both cost-effective and efficient, helping you meet environmental standards while saving money.
Oil-water separators are designed to remove oily wastewater contaminants from the wash water. These systems use technologies like coalescing plate separators and hydrocyclones to ensure effective oil removal.
Unroofed wash bays are permissible under certain conditions but require specialised systems and equipment to manage rainwater and prevent contamination. Enviroconcepts offers solutions that handle unroofed wash bays, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Our wash bays are constructed using high-quality materials like stainless steel and wash mats that are durable and resistant to harsh cleaning chemicals. This ensures longevity and minimal equipment maintenance.
Absolutely! Enviroconcepts designs wash bay systems tailored for various industries including car wash businesses focusing on efficiency and environmental compliance. Our systems effectively manage oil in wastewater and suspended solids, ensuring smooth site operations.
Enviroconcepts works closely with you to ensure that your permanent or portable wash bay system meets all requirements set by your local authority. We provide documentation and support throughout the installation and operational phases ensuring trade waste agreements are met.
A wash bay is a complete system that includes water treatment and recycling components like oil-water separators, while a wash pad is a physical area where the washing of vehicles or heavy equipment takes place. Enviroconcepts offers both wash mats and portable wash bay systems to suit your specific case and site needs.
Yes, we specialise in designing wash bay systems for heavy equipment used in industries like mining and transport. Our systems handle large volumes of oil and suspended solids effectively.
