Grey Water

Grey Water can be defined as any domestic or workplace wastewater produced, excluding sewage. The main difference between grey water and sewage (black water) is the organic loading, which is much higher in black water than in grey water. Enviro Concepts offers commercial and industrial solutions for grey water treatment and recycling using biological, chemical and physical processes.

Why Treat Grey Water?

Sources of greywater include sinks, showers, baths, clothes washing, etc. Nutrients like Nitrogen and Phosphorous come from urine and detergents and are present in grey water. High level nutrient concentration in water poses a major problem to affected water supplies and our environment.

You can reuse greywater for several non-potable uses. Treated greywater can be recycled and reused for activities like surface irrigation, toilet flushing, and clothes washing machine use.

Greywater treatment systems can provide more water for reuse; however, the right approval is required and the systems need to be regularly maintained by a service contractor.

Enviro Commercial Grey Water System – 8000-12000 L/Day

A commercial grey water system is a lightweight system that can treat all wastewater in a single tank. The system we recommend has 6-stage Contact Media Filtration and treatment process. Moving through sedimentation, anaerobic filtration, aerobic contact filtration and clarification chamber and then finally moving through disinfection, the process is quick and efficient.

Enviro Industrial Grey Water System – 10,000-20,000 L/Day

The industrial grey water system is designed to process 10,000 – 20,000L water capacity per day. Treatment performance is determined by the influent parameters, including organic concentration.
